Doors - E
For some reason, some of the search engines will bring you to this page. We have included some pictures of doors and other products from one of our new affiliates (Nov 2004).
We service sales from ONE door to over 100 doors. No matter who you buy from, make sure the wood is properly DRIED or you will have problems with the fit of the door in the weeks and months after installation as the door adjusts to the humidity levels where you live. The wood should be dried to 12% for most applications in Asia and to less than 10% for most applications in NorthAmerica. In addition, find out if the lumber is grade A or some other grade..
Kiln dreid lumber is generally of a more uniform moisture content. Most Air dreid lumber in South East Asia is dried to 13-15% moisture content. However, some of our lumber is Antique Teak. This is teak wood taken from old, very old, thai Teak farm houses. Some of these homes are 100 and 200 years old. Some of the lumber in our products is taken from the main timber supports in these old homes. This lumber is air dried but air dried for 100 years!. This lumber general has a moisture content of 10% or less and further kiln drying is unnecessary.
