CONTACT - Lumber and flooring
As of January 2007 we have temporarily suspended our lumber sales during our reorganization.  We intent to bring this back around August of this year (2007).  If you are interested in lumber products you may feel free to contact Michael Gift at mjgift@teakmarket.com and I will keep you on our maining list to be contacted when we re-enter the lumber business.



The following is not appicable until we restart the lumber business in August of 2007.
All lumber products are sold FOB Bangkok/Chonburi or FOB Rangoon.  Under special conditions, we will provide CIF/CNF prices, however, we will require that all QC examinations by international inspectors needed to satisfy the conditions of the LC are conducted in Thailand or Rangoon (Yangon).  (Lumber from Laos and Cambodia will be shipped out of Thailand.)

Please note, products from Myanmar are still under restrictions regarding imports into the USA.  For this reason, any shipments to the USA will not include products from Myanmar.

We will work strictly with commercial accounts.  We will process the order immediately upon receiving full order details and a confirmation of the Letter of Credit (LC).  We will be happy to assist the buyer in arranging container shipping to a port in their country and we will be happy to help arrange inspection by a recognized international inspection company in Rangoon/Bangkok.  Charges for the inspection and shipping are not included in our FOB prices.  

Typically, the minimum size order is 500 cubic feet of lumber.  After we receive your inquiry, we will send a price quote for your purchase.  Unless otherwise informed, this price quote will be based on a minimum order quantity of 500 cubic feet.  We will accept orders as small as 250 cubic feet, however, there will be a surcharge on the purchase price and the shipping cost per cubic foot will be slightly higher.  Also, a 5% discount will apply on all orders in excess of 4,000 cubic feet.  Other discounts are available for repeat orders.

If you are interested in receiving pricing and availability information, please send an e-mail to info@teakmarket.com with all relevant date.  Specific details (sizes and quantities) should be included in the e-mail.  We do not have a catalog as such.  The information in this website is our catalog.  Please be fairly precise when sending us information.  If your information is very general it will simply delay the process until we get specific information.  We frequently cut lumber to customer specifications so we do not maintain large inventories of "common sizes".  The price will depend on your specifications.
