Please let us know of your interest in purchasing handmade solid-teak or solid-padauk doors and windows.  TeakMarket.com is primarily targeted our commercial customers which means that we generally entertain large purchases.  However, with doors we can provide service to commercial and personal accounts.

Please send an e-mail with the relevant information concerning your order.  How many doors, model number(s), dimensions, and other special information.  We will send you a price on orders as small as one door.  We do apply discounts on orders of 10 doors or more.  If you are a volume purchaser (10 doors or more in one purchase) you will receive at least a 5% discount.  The discount will be higher if your purchase is larger.

Specific prices will be sent in response to your e-mail.  Please indicate the style you wish to purchase.  If your desired style in not in our list, you may send us the necessary information and we can still price out your request.  However, pricing of special orders will take extra time.

To give you a rough idea of our price range, our TEAK doors (standard), in units of one door will cost between $450 to $680 per door (note: some of our standard styles are 2-door sets) depending on the particular style.  Ous standard size is 80 inch high, 32 inch wide and 1.375 inch thick.  Prices are for the teak door only.  Glass, carving and stain/finish are not included in the price.  carvings such as those shown on the catalog usually have a very small cost.  others carving different from those shown have a higher cost.  We need to knpw what you want carved before we can give a price on the carving.  There are price adjustments for larger sizes.  Custom design doors are generally 10% to 20% higher if there is no special art involved.  However, no estimated price can be given on this website on custom doors requiring special carving or special glass products.  For special orders, prices can be provided only after we receive all specifications and pictures.  If the services of special artisans is required, it could take up to three (3) additional weeks to provide prices.

In addition to the purchase price for the door, the buyer must also pay for shipping.  We make no money on the shipping activity.  We will charge you for direct shipping costs (shipping, packing and fees) in the manner you specify (air, sea, overnight) plus $50 to cover our time to prepare the shipment.  The $50 surcharge will be dropped when the purchase price of the doors ordered in a single shipment exceeds $1,000 USD (usually reached with a 2-door order.).

If you are ordering only standard doors the following procedures will apply:

On orders of standard products we will accept any of the three following arrangements.
A
Letter of Credit.  If you have a letter of credit issued for the full amount of the order (product plus shipping) we will process the order as soon as we receive and confirm the LOC.  The required duration of the LOC will depend on the size of the order and type of wood specified.  Large orders might require 60 days (or more) for order processing.  Generally, a letter of credit is financial viable only of orsers for $15,000 USD or more.
B
You may provide an advance cash payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) of 50% of the product purchase price (not including shipping costs) and have the products shipped to you COD.  Please note, there will be an extra charge for COD service.  This option is available only in selected areas.  To save any COD charges or in areas where COD is not available, the remaining charges can be paid by EFT prior to shipping.
C
You may provide an advance payment via credit card for 50% of the purchase price with the balance being drawn on the same credit card at the time of shipment.  CURRENTLY we are not able to process credit cards.  We hope to have this facility in the future.
On SPECIAL ORDERS (non-standard products) we will accept any of the four following arrangements.
A
Letter of Credit.  If the special order does not require significant art so that it can be processed with our normal production we will accept a LOC as the full basis for payment.  This approach will not be accepted where any special art requirements will significantly lengthen the production cycle.  We can provide more information about this once we receive the details of the special order specifications.  Other options are shown below.
B
A prepayment equal to 60% of the product purchase price (product only, not including shipping).  This prepayment will be accepted through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).  The balance paid by EFT at the time of shipping,

Special payment procedures can be arranged.  However, we will not ship the product without full advance payment unless a proper Letter or Credit has been received and confirmed OR partial advance payment has been received and COD arrangements can be made for the balance.  Please note: COD services are offered only to selected areas (selected parts of the USA, Canada, Europe, Hong Kong and the Philippines.  Other areas will be considered on a case by case basis.)

Please note, where an LOC is used which stipulates a QC inspection report inorder to satisfy the conditions of the LOC, we require that all such QC inspections be conducted prior to loading and sealing the container.  The customer may select the international inspection company to perform the inspections.
